About Us

TotalLink2 Community is a Northbrook-based nonprofit that helps individuals living with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 18 years or older and their families in the north suburbs of Chicago. We offer a wide range of person-centered services that promote employment, independence, and strong social connections in our home communities. TotalLink provides career and vocational services including job development and placement through using a proven and innovative approach called Customized Employment; skill-based coaching; family coaching; life planning; educational opportunities such as learning labs; and recreational opportunities to individuals with disabilities. We also offer education and consultation services to educators, community partners, and other professionals.

We do this work because we believe in people with disabilities and the impact their contribution makes on a community.

Community connections and meaningful relationships create a sense of belonging that benefits both people with disabilities and the communities to which they belong. Our programs are designed to get young adults with disabilities involved in their community and deepen and expand their social connections.
