AN EMPLOYMENT SUCCESS STORY

Entrepreneur Pays It Forward

Recently, Brian Martin, a micro-enterprise owner and one of TotalLink's job seekers, donated to TotalLink in honor of the online sales he made in 2022.

Brian works at Quantum Group in Morton Grove and has also had his own micro-enterprise business, HardbackYoYo, since 2010. HardbackYoYo upcycles old books into one-of-a-kind journals and other products that he sells on his Etsy shop and at local fairs, conventions, and expos.

"My passion for books and keeping the earth a great place for all of us to live has inspired me to create an eco-friendly business - springing old books into a new purpose," says Brian. This is his third year of making a $1 donation to TotalLink for each product sold online. His gift will help TotalLink continue to help other young adults like Brian find jobs in the community and create meaningful lives.
