Maker’s Lab is a creative learning environment where students work separately and collaboratively to invent their own products using a variety of tools and materials. Each session includes demonstrations of skills to complete projects that allow students to model, experiment and learn at their own pace. We’ll create a variety of products including: gardening, soap, bath bombs, and mosaic stepping stones; and will work as a group to collaborate on refurbishing a piece of furniture. Maker’s Lab will offer students the opportunity to explore and develop skills in woodworking, sewing, manufacturing, or a combination of these skills. This program will be facilitated by Joan Martin and Melissa Paull.
Maker's Lab is held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Cost per session: $500 (includes a $50 supply fee).
